new to blogging

hello everyone out there!

as the title of this blog states i am new to blogging. i have never blogged anything in my life! i rarely even comment on articles i read. anyway, i wanted and felt the need to start a blog about my life as a mother of a child with autism.

i want to share and give others a chance to share as well in a forum that will not make anyone feel looked down upon. i gave autism speaks a try and was very, very disappointed. there is a lot of bullshit going on at that site which makes for a bad karma.

my plans are to make this blog site a type of diary. i will post events that happen here in my house that are related to autism and how it effect not only myself but my nt daughter and my significant other ( the children's father).

i am always open to suggestions and will give suggestions to others that are trying to find ways of coping and helping their children as well. i will state upfront that i am against many of the biomed therapies and do not think that autism is a "disease" that is caused by vaccinations. i do not believe that a cause nor cure has been found. whether or not you agree with me is up for discussion. but i will not tolerate name-calling or abusive remarks of any kind.

if you disagree with me you are certainly welcome to state your opinion but please do it in a way in which others will not find offensive.

i guess that is about it for now. i want to let some friends know that i have started this blog and will start posting discussions soon.
